The Electrician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, including PLCs, control systems, motors, VFDs, and other complex electromechanical equipment. This role requires performing preventive and emergency maintenance, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems in the facility.

Responsibilities

Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications

  • Troubleshoot, install or repair electrical wiring, conduit, feeders, breakers and other electrical

    components using appropriate electrical test equipment

  • Perform electrical maintenance and emergency repairs, implement modifications, and carry

    out the facility’s preventive maintenance program during the assigned shift

  • Install and repair electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment

  • Plan layouts for new electrical wiring installations when required

  • Conduct regular inspections of all electrical equipment, including switchgear and motors, as

    part of the preventive maintenance program

  • Maintain electro-pneumatic control systems by adjusting, calibrating, and repairing them

  • Install new electrical and electronic equipment and electrical wiring in compliance with the

    national electrical code and company standards

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with PLCs

  • Assist the purchasing department by providing technical guidance on equipment and

    electrical parts

  • Work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative when needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, prints, specifications and Operations and

    Maintenance Manuals

  • Ability to stand for long period of time

  • Ability to lift 50 Lbs

  • At least five years of prior industrial experience in a manufacturing related type of

    environment

  • The candidate we seek must read and write in English language
