Englert - Accounts Receivable Representative

 

As the Accounts Receivable Representative, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely collection of outstanding customer invoices. This role involves communicating with clients regarding billing issues, resolving disputes, maintaining records, and working closely with internal departments to support financial reporting and cash flow management.

Responsibilities

· Monitor and manage assigned customer accounts to ensure timely payment.

· Process and apply payments to customer accounts accurately.

· Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to follow up on past-due accounts.

· Resolve payment discrepancies and disputes in a professional manner.

· Review and release of credit hold customer orders

· Maintain up-to-date records of collection activities and communications.

· Work with the sales and customer service teams to address client issues.

· Recommend accounts for escalation or write-off, when necessary.

· Assist in month-end closing and reporting activities.

· Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and financial regulations.

 

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

· 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a similar finance role.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
